Hello everyone,
I am located in Ohio and am not really 'new' to orchids. I have a small collection of a few different varieties, my favourite being the masdevallia.
I started out the same way most people do, buying a pretty phalaenopsis and killing it. I then moved onto buying clearance phals and bringing them back to life; this taught me so much about orchid care and what not to do. I have 5 phals now including 2 that were 'rescues' and 3 that were healthy. I am also experimenting with both dendrobiums and cattlyeas; my setup seems to favour the dendrobiums right now.
