Default Spots on umcidium pseudobulbs

Hola from Costa Rica

I’m new to orchids, and I have a umcidium with spots on pseudobulbs. Can someone please tell me what the problem may be. It will be greatly appreciated.

I would suspect that insects have bitten the pseudobulbs of that oncidium and small, localized infections have taken place. Unless the damage continues to grow, it is probably nothing to be overly concerned about.

Thank you Ray

Thank you very much for your input, and I’m relieved that it’s nothing to worry about. I will keep an eye on it to see if the infection gets worse.
