Hello,

I have a quite a collection of orchids, but a few are recent acquisitions! Ive been looking at this board for information alot lately and decided Id better join and ask my questions from the experts. I'm not a complete newbie as I have successfully been raising (and blooming) Vandas, Phals, and Mini catts, and Mini phals over the years but paths, phrags, cattasetum, even my dendrobiums are relatively new to me. My husband and I went a little crazy at the Jax and NC orchid shows this year. Meeting several persons who have awarded orchids named after them may have caused a little impulse buying So, for these new genus I'm playing catch-up in the care dept. and I'm always willing listen and I hope to learn all that I can.

Welcome to the Orchid Board. Yep, I agree, orchid shows can be quite dangerous -- but in a good way!
