Although I am not an avid orchid grower I am here in an effort to salvage and nurture what I believe to be a Cattleya Secret Love(Secret Love is verified by the tag) given to my wife and I by someone recently passed who was dear to us. I am generally good with houseplants however this one has challenged me greatly.

Hello from Upstate New York.
An orchid novice, I have managed to get all my 6 plants to bloom one time or another. None have died, but I fear one or two are on the critical list. I read, watch videos, go to lessons and have now joined a forum. I learn a little bit more each time, “little” being the operative word. Looking forward to learning much more.
