Hi. My name is Alexander Male
Cool Hi. My name is Alexander

Hello. My name is Alexander or Alex, either way. I live in central Florida. I’ve been collecting orchids for some years now and recently made my first hybrid. I really don’t know anyone else that collects orchids that I can talk to that lives near me so this seems to be the next best option. If anyone ever wants to talk or there’s anything orchid related I can help with please let me know. Thanks for reading this!!

Hi Alex, and welcome to the board! I'm sure you must know that there are around ten different orchid societies within the state of Florida, and a couple of them must be fairly close to you. Still, I understand not everyone has the ability to travel to meetings or the desire to belong to a club, and so this forum is a great way to "talk" with other orchid addicts from the comfort of your own home. I look forward to your future posts.

Smile

What orchids do you grow? That's a good way to start the conversation. And I'm always ready to pick a brain and learn. Yes,Florida is the Mecca for this hobby and enjoyment of such magnificent plants.

I grow anything I can get my hands on actually but a good amount of my collection are bulbophyllums. I also have a thing for austrailian Dendrobiums.
