There are people in Hawaii hybridizing what used to be called Schomburgkia with various Laelia and Cattleya species. I bet it's a primary hybrid between a Schomburgkia and a bifoliate Cattleya.
They like plenty of sun. I bet when it's time to divide you could put a piece on a tree in mostly to full sun.

Plant form and the distinct keels in the lip make it pretty certain this is one of the former Schomburgkia types now classified as Laelia, possibly Laelia splendida or a hybrid between L. splendida and one of the others in the group. I see no signs it might be a hybrid with a bifoliate Catt or anything else outside that group.
