Tried to reply from the work computer without success (would not allow access). Did you look to see what crosses have been made using Schomburgkia lyonsii?
I have Schombolaelia Summit (Schomb. lyonsii X Laelia anceps) coming into flower now. Flowers not as dark as yours but still spotted. The lip structure suggests as a parent what are now called Guaranthe but check out what the cross Schomb. lyonsii X C. bowringiana (or C. aurantiaca or C. skinneri) are called and then see if you can find a picture of those crosses.
