I'm sorry to hear that, Tazenman. I know that particular plant had great sentimental significance to you. It happens sometimes, though, and I'm glad to hear you are considering this all a learning experience and are willing to try again with another orchid -- or two or three, lol. Try to take a real objective look at the conditions you can provide, i.e., light, temperature, humidity, watering frequency, etc., and choose orchids that are known to do well in those conditions.
