Default Which specie does this orchid belongs to?

Please help me identify this orchid. I got this from my uncle but none of know which specie it belongs to.

Also it has no new growth (no new leaf or root since 2 months). It gets moderate lighting and I water it weekly.

Refer the attached image.

Please help!!

It is VERY difficult to ID a plant from the foliage only.

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

It might be a species or hybrid in genus Aerides, Vanda, or any of many other related genera. You won't be able to tell until it flowers.

By the way, the word "species" is used for singular and plural. One species, two species....
