I rescued this Phalaenopsis on the discounted rack. I usually just deal with terrarium size plants, but figured I would give this a shot. I tried to pick the one with the best looking roots. Once I got it home, I realized that they had the poor thing packed insanely tight in moss. I moistened, loosened, and removed 80% of the moss to free up the roots. I then repotted it in fir bark, a little moss and a few LECA balls. I deadheaded it as well. Any further ID help would be appreciated....and any other suggestions would be appreciated....thanks in advance.
There's gigajillions of Phalaenopsis Hybrids so unless you know the exact parentage ("Family Tree") of this phal then the closest you can get is probably "Phalaenopsis NoID" unless someone has an ID'd phal that looks exactly like yours.
A tad tad bit off topic but they usually don't sell phals with smallish flowers in the supermarket but I like the coloration on this one.
