#1 is a Dendrobium, I believe. Perhaps nobile or something in that section.

# 2 is not an orchid. Perhaps some kind of lily. What's local to your area?

The first orchid has a lot of seed pods: The elongated things emerging from the nodes on the canes. Agree it is a Dendrobium. Look up which ones are native to the area from which this came.

The second is probably taro, or a relative in the aroid family. Is taro / dasheen cultivated around there? Or any other plants like this?
