Beautiful baby, Samgeo! I divided my Wilsonara this spring and while it's still huge, it's sulking. No blooms for Dolly this year. 😣

Had a Wilsonara Kolibri once uponn an time. Lovely flowers. Died a few years after I got it. Have always found members of the onc. alliance to be challenging. Not sure if it is just not getting their watering needs down right or just what. Quite the pity as there are some nice hybrids out there and I know many folks find them fairly easy.

That suprises me. From your posts I'd thought you could make a dead branch bloom. 😉

See... now I find them easy because they dont mind my heavy handed watering.... trust me, I’ve killed my fair share of orchids.

Beautiful Onc, and such a nice, warm color for the winter!

I used to find them challenging and was always killing them. Then I discovered the secret. Water them A LOT. In the summer I even leave water in the saucers when watering, and once that's gone, I wait no more than 2-3 days to water again.
