Default Identification help please!

I have no idea what this orchid is, was on a tree when we moved in. This was it at full bloom two years ago. Unfortunately I almost lost it when my girl was born and I neglected the orchid collection - but it now has new growth! Would love to know what it is.

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

I agree with charlesf6. It's an Australian native Dendrobium, or a hybrid of such species. Very beautiful!

If you have an orchid society nearby they can be of great help.

Thank-you! I'm located in Brisbane, Australia, so that would make sense. I've been along to a meeting of the local orchid society, people were very friendly and helpful. Awaiting the next show and meeting in February - seems so long away!

I think I found it! I google image searched Australian native dendrobiums and found the hybrid Harold Hirsch, which looks just like it to me. Unfortunately I can't seem to post the link here, but that's okay, thanks again for your help!
