Oncidium intergenerics from Trader Joe's Male
Default Oncidium intergenerics from Trader Joe's

Calling all oncidium intergeneric experts and aficionados -
Need help identifying some impulse purchases!

(Is it even possible to tell Oncidium intergenerics apart? Or are there so many of them?)

So, I was seriously considering shelling out real money for some of these, shopping around real growers/sellers, looking at $20-$40/plant, not necessarily in bloom, plus shipping.... Walked into TJ's and saw these and - hey - these are basically exactly what I was looking at! But, only $15, multiple spikes. Potted in soil, which is weird but what the hey, I could take them home that day.

I think two of them might be varieties of Oncostele (formerly Colmanara) Wildcat, the dark one especially; but there are many varieties of Wildcat, so even if I'm correct it's still inexact.

1.

Oncostele Wildcat?

1a.

same plant as above

2.

different lip, more yellow in petals and sepals - also a Wildcat?

3.

Oncidium intergeneric from Trader Joe's

3a.
