Hi all,

I received a gift from an uncle but he says he lost the tag hence unable to recall or label this orchid.

Please help.

ah, I LIKE spotted cattleyas! there are many very similar to this, and without the tag I am afraid yours is of the variety NO IDEA...or noid....it is gorgeous on that tree and looks very much at home! enjoy!

It does look like it has cattleya schillariana, or cattleya guttatta in its genetics. To make an exact match would take DNA testing.
