The plant habit does not look like dayanum nor do te flowers. The leaves appear to be more coriacious (heavy and thick) than the graceful thin leaves of dayanum. I am not sure why you believe it has dayanum in it?

I suspect it is a bicolor or aliofolium hybrid or even a canaliculatum hybrid. Any of these will be happy growing in a warm environment. Finlaysonianum is a possibility, but the species itself is more rank in growing and not used as often as the other coriacious leaved species in the group.
