Phalaenopsis sp./hybrid?
Hello,
So I got this orchid on eBay (wrongly tagged, according to me) as Phalaenopsis violacea.
The flower is slightly more violet to what it looks like in the photo and smells exactly like rose water during the day time.
Please help me identify this one.
Thanks in advance!

I've seen very similar flowers identified as Phal. violacea. There's no guarantee that any of them were correctly identified, but it would suggest that many might accept this as violacea. Can you be specific about why you think it is wrong?

I agree. There are numerous forms of the species, and it's very likely that this is either a blue or purple form.

Thank you everyone! I wasn't aware that numerous forms of the species existed.

Peter Lin recently showed me a photo of one he has on which the flower is as vivid a purple as Prince could ever imagine.

Purple and blue shades of flowers are extremely difficult to photograph accurately.
