@jkofferdahl Yes it is sad that the true IDs of hybridized Phals are lost

But my goal is just to find a "visual doppelgänger" as I said. I know my other orchid's heritage is likely not the same as the ID I found that it resembles. As I'm not breeding orchids (nor am I an expert on their biological heritage) and I'm merely keeping them as plant friends, I don't see the harm in trying to get a visual lookalike ID to appease my curiosity. At least then I can say "well it LOOKS SIMILAR to such and such" but obviously genetically is different.
Wish we could do an orchid paternity test!
