1 and 3 appear to be Maxillaria - pretty hard to deterimine species. 2 is an Epidendrum - looks like it is related to Epi. nocturnum, but there are several species that are similar. 4 is an Epidendrum that looks similar to (related to) Epi. veroscriptum or Epi. paniculatum. 5 is an Epidendrum, but doesn't look familiar to me. 6 resembles Maxillaria striata or Max. cucullata (but not quite like either). 7 is an Epidendrum, looks somewhat like Epidendrum difforme but there are quite a few other species it could be. So... in short, within each group there are several species that look rather similar. I think that you will need to look at a lot of pictures to try to match yours with the correct species. If you know the habitat where they were seen, it could help you choose which of several similar ones they might be. Almost overwhelming, the

The genera (in this case Epidendrum and Maxillaria) are divided into sections, and if you can figure out what section each plant looks like it resembles, it reduces the number of photos that you have to look at (since both genera are huge)
