Help identifying Ecuador orchid photo
Hello everyone!
I photographed this orchid in Ecuador, near Yazuni NP a couple of years ago. I wasn't nearly as interested in orchids then as I am now so I just snapped a quick one of the flower, but now I'm dying to find out what species it is!
Anyone got any ideas?

I don't know for sure, but the flower shape says Lycaste to me. Can't help with the species though.
It is lovely, I really like the red markings on the lip!

Maxillaria
sp.,
Mormolyca
sp., etc. There are a few look-alikes, without a look at the bulbs and the dimensions of the flower it will be difficult.
Look here
, too!

If it was in Central America I would suggest Maxillaria variabilis, but in Ecuador perhaps compare it to Maxillaria rufescens.
