It could be, perhaps. If it came without a tag it's all but impossible to say with any certainty; there are loads of Oncidium hybrids out there which look very, very similar. But it's pretty and you liked it enough to bring it home, and you'll enjoy it regardless of a name.

There is no tag and no one can't confirm it here. I'm looking for Sharry baby and I'm debating.

Thanks
Tony

Maybe the store will tell you where they got it. That business may be able to tell you what it is if you send a photo. The original grower probably knows what it is.

It's unlikely that anyone will. Sharry Baby has a lot of variation, from those that are almost entirely a dark red to those with an almost entirely white lip, and with others more in the middle like yours. Basically, though, if you have to have a plant you know is Sharry Baby you'll need to specifically buy one properly labeled.

Just as all Sherry Baby's are not exact in flowers, they aren't all exact in scent either.

Orchids don't always release their fragrance (if they have any) all the time... it could be fragrant but due to conditions when you saw it wasn't putting out then.

I see the hang tag says 'Gubler's', so assume they were the supplier. They are a known nursery, perhaps you can contact them and see what they say.
Gubler Orchids
My area' supplier is Better-Gro/Sunbulb, and they do help when possible. I know a few people who have gotten IDs on Better-Gro plants from the nurseryman. I imagine Gubler's would be the same.
