Last year I bought an ailing plant (tagged as Zygopetalum maxillaire) whose bloom has just opened up today. It does not resemble a Zygo, but perhaps a zygo - odont hybrid? I'm at a loss, I like the bloom, although the colour is washed a bit. Pics are from my phone.
It is a complex Oncidium alliance hybrid - probably of the Aliceara/Bealleara type. No Zygo involved, and I doubt any kind of Zygo/Oncid hybrid would ever be possible. Definite exact identification of any NoID hybrid is unlikely, but I will take a look at some possibilities and check back later.
Yes, it probably is Aliceara Tahoma Glacier. Many different clones have been widely distributed so they won't all look exactly alike, but it certainly is one of the most common out there. It certainly directs you to the right care for the plant.
