Default Unknown Oncidium (bought as Zygo maxillaire)

Hey everyone!

Last year I bought an ailing plant (tagged as Zygopetalum maxillaire) whose bloom has just opened up today. It does not resemble a Zygo, but perhaps a zygo - odont hybrid? I'm at a loss, I like the bloom, although the colour is washed a bit. Pics are from my phone.

Please help identify! Thanks!!

It is a complex Oncidium alliance hybrid - probably of the Aliceara/Bealleara type. No Zygo involved, and I doubt any kind of Zygo/Oncid hybrid would ever be possible. Definite exact identification of any NoID hybrid is unlikely, but I will take a look at some possibilities and check back later.

Thanks MadMan!

I looked into Aliceara and I think you're right! It resembles Aliceara Tahoma Glacier from a few pics online:

I don't know for sure thats what it is, but its the closest I could find so far.

Yes, it probably is Aliceara Tahoma Glacier. Many different clones have been widely distributed so they won't all look exactly alike, but it certainly is one of the most common out there. It certainly directs you to the right care for the plant.

Dosent look like a Zygopetalum. It looks like one of the beallaria Tahoma Glacier crosses.
