Phalaenopsis ID
everyone. i rescued this Phalaenopsis a few years ago, actually 3 of them. After getting it healthy again, it started to make some amazing flowers. Each flower is unique, with bright solid white and the purple spots really pop out. Its one of my favorites for sure . I have spent a long time researching online to find out what its name is or where it originated from. The store i got it from has a large greenhouse just for orchids and usually get them from some reputable companies, but i still haven't found it. the closest i have come to a resemblance would be Taida Pearl x Sogo Yukidian. anyone seen these around? thanks in advance and happy holidays.

You have a plant called Phalaenopsis unidentifiacus.
There are hundreds and hundreds of thousands of Phal hybrids, and a lot of them are so similar that it's essentially impossible to put a name to a NoID such as yours. Still, it's beautiful, and unless you had some plans of breeding it then just enjoy it for what it is and celebrate its blooms.

Lol ya I understand, was kinda a long shot, I do have intentions of breeding, otherwise I'd give it my own name lol, I already have seed pods going on this now, I have 3 of these so I did a sib cross. Just figured it didn't hurt to ask, maybe some one else has seen one like it and had a name. If I cant find it, any ideas on a good name?, something better than my label now "white purple dots" doesn't seem to do it justice lol.
