Looks like Den pendulum. The canes are very distinctive and I don't believe any other species has that.
I grow it bright...Catt level. Lots of water when in active growth and much less when the leaves begin to drop.
The leaves are dropping now and it typically blooms for me sometime between Jan and Mar somewhere.
It's a very cool looking flower and they last for several weeks. I don't recall if there is a fragrance.
I don't know if pendulum passes along that cane to its offspring but if it does then it could also be a hybrid. Either way, I'm fairly certain pendulum is, at the very least, in there somewhere.
BTW - That is one hell of a nice sized plant and I'd be very tempted to get it too.
That's definitely not a pendulum flower so there is either another species with that cane type or its a hybrid. Still, very cool and a bummer you couldn't get it.
