Default is This Dendrobium phalaenopsis?

Is this Dendrobium phalaenopsis? There are a few that look so simaler to this and just need to know if that is exactly what this is!

It is because the flower spike would grow from the tip top, not in between the nodes on the cane. It is also an evergreen variety I believe. It does not need a winter rest to rebloom again.

Thank you! I have another ? if you could help... The one leaf has a small amount of black on the tip. What would be causing this and should i be worried?

Can not say unless you can post a photo of it. You can try here and to see what is causing it.

I won't worry it. If it is spreading, you can cut the tip and to seal it with some cinnamon powder.

Not always. Mine does have spikes on the sides of the older canes. Mine don't seem to have got the memo.

You have a Phal-type Dendrobium. They like warmth, a good sunny window, and a fast-draining (drying) medium. Many of them do not like their roots disturbed at the wrong time of year and some of them can bloom ten months out of a year if they are completely happy. They are great orchids. Good luck with it!
