I bought this white phal from Trader Joe's the other day and I don't normally think too much about what kind of orchid it is as long as I know the type (phal, paph etc) but this phal looks a lot like a Sogo Yukidian V3.
The flowers are big and it's got a yellow/red coloring on the lip, which is what the lip of a V3 looks like (according to google searches). If anyone wiser than me can help me ID, I'd appreciate it!
There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of registered big white Phal hybrids, and mass market plants are often unregistered hybrids, or the names attached are tradenames that might not always be the same cross. Phal Sogo Yukidian is a registered cross, 'V3' a widely distributed clone, and your plant does resemble it. But there is nothing about Phal Sogo Yukidian 'V3' that makes it unique. It just isn't possible to say that is or isn't what you have.
The only way to know for sure what the name of a plant is is to anti-up for a plant with a name tag (and sometime this still isn't a sure thing). If this were my plant I would label it as "Phal. ? (white)"
