NOID Cattleya Hybrid--
Hi all--I've had this guy for three years, having bought it at Lowe's as large seedling--This is the first time it has ever bloomed--It had an incorrect tag with a cymbidium cross named on it--Anyone have an idea what this one might be?--It's very similar to some of the Potinara Love Spirit 'NN' hybrids but I just can't be sure--The lip seems slightly different--The first two photos are of mine, the second I got off the internet showing Potinara Love Spirit 'NN#1'--Thanks--

Hi Timotheus. You have a very beautiful Cattleya hybrid that you have grown very well!
The two plants you showed are definitely not similar. The lips are very different in shape. The petals are very different in width. As a result the silhouettes of the flowers are very different.
Unfortunately, there are so many similar hybrids it just isn't possible to identify a plant without a name tag.

It is a dead ringer for potinara 'love spirit', but it could just be a dead ringer.

Someone recently posted one just like this, also bought as a bag baby many years ago...with a name. Hopefully, they will see this and be able to provide the name.
