Looking for more info on a new teeny tiny orchid
Hi,
I got a new mounted mini orchid from my local orchid society meeting. I bought it for its amazing fragrance.
Apparently it's from Taiwan. It was identified as Chanaeang holiotana, but I did a Google search and literally came up with nothing. I'm not really nervous about its care or anything, I'm just interested to know more!
It's monopodial, with relatively thick roots, and pendant flowers that look like tiny cymbidiums.
Any leads?

Your plant sort of looks like Sarcochilus but the flower is not the same. Perhaps it is a hybrid? Good luck on finding out. This is a good mystery to solve!

Edit: didn't like my guess. So many possibilities.

I would ask the person who brought it to the meeting, or the vendor who sold it to the person who brought it to the meeting.

Looking up stuff on this one - it looks exactly like the white variety of thrixspermum saruwatarii.
Now to figure out the deal with the name I was given (chanaeang holiotana)...my guess is that it was just untranslated.
