Thank you - I love it too!
My guess is now Chysis Aurea, what do you think?

I'm surprised these aren't more popular. Nice flower. Is it scented?

A lot of books say something like "It's too bad Chysis take up so much space." My C. bractescens isn't quite flowering size, and I haven't seen a full-sized one in person. They don't seem to take any more space than a standard Cattleya and certainly less than a standard Cymbidium. Maybe people don't like plants that might sprawl sideways if left on their own.

Yeah, it surprises me too. So pretty and a piece of cake to grow. And yes, it's also scented - a sweet, slightly citrusy aroma, reminded me of a couple of NoID Cattleya I have.

It's tall, that's all. All the old pbs are tied up together, which is what I'm planning on doing with this year's growth if it decides horizontal is easier. It's in an 8 inch pot, but definitely takes up less space than most of my adult Cattleya and larger Epidendrums.

The flowers look a lot like cimbidium. Are they related? I think it is great. scrappy plant and all the flowers are wonderful. Love the peachy color and bright spots.
