Default Probable Encyclia Hybrid

I finally got out and went to the Sunday markets today.
It has been close to a couple of months since my last market tour.
With all the blooming going on here, I haven't been motivated to look for more additions to the collection.

After buying the produce, I almost bought a Vanda hybrid.
Then, I saw this one, and snapped it up instead.
I'm inclined to think its an Encyclia type hybrid.
It is fragrant.

Got lots of Vandas.
Not so many Encyclias.

Anyone recognize this, or able to give an informed guess as to parentage?

Oh yeah! Isn't that fabulous! I hope you are not going to put it up a tree, because then you won't be able to smell it!

Yep, I'm gonna.
And, yes-s-s I will.
It'll be mounted at or below nose level.
Already got a place picked out.

I think that might be Encyclia Hilo Tofu 'Super Firm'.

Might be possible.
Can't find pics of it, but after cruising websites of local nurseries, their photo galleries, Google Images, and IOSPE, I'm pretty certain that this is an Ency. cordigera / phonecia cross & re-cross, maybe something else thrown in for variety too.
There are a lot of variations that look very similar to my new one.

Got your PM.

Same answer just in case:

Took me a minute to stop laughing.
It went right over my head, even if I had noticed the box was a tofu box when I pulled it out of the car after getting home.

Definitely has cordigera in the background. Could be just a straight cordigera though

OK, now you guys have got me breathing heavy.
I have been a long time species snob!
The thought that this might be an actual species plant, rather than a hybrid, feeds that part of me.
Although, in reading about Epic. cordigera, the flower descriptions imply a flower usually about 3" in size.
This one is only about 1-1/2" across, but about 2-1/4" from the edge of the lip to, the tip of the dorsal sepal.
Might be close enough.

The vendor had several of these in her booth.
None had tags.
But, that is not unusual for her offerings.
There will probably still be some available next Sunday.
I'll ask her about it then.
But then, she usually isn't too sure about names.
Apparently that is her husband's province.
They have an orchid nursery/greenhouse in the vicinity.
I've seen a notice in the booth with their business name and info about retail sales.
They do cut flowers and potted plants.
If they allow it, I probably should make an exploratory visit to scope their stock out.

It is actually in a 4" pot.
The box is about 8" on a side.
It was the largest of these plants she had available there, with the most spikes and greatest root mass.
It has greatly overgrown its pot.
That is very common with these farmers market offerings, left over older plants being cleared out, in need of re-potting.
I look for and buy a lot of those types.
They give me a running start on getting specimen sized plants.
