Default Encyclia Green Gables

I'm not sure this is where I need to post this since I know the plants name. What I'm really looking for is information on this very old plant.

I tried a Google search, which did yield info last year, which I promptly lost, but this time I found nothing.

I've had this plant a long time, so I know what it looks like and I know it's fragrant. What I'd like to know is, has it been awarded? Who the breeder was? ect ect

If anyone has any information I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the Green Glades is easy to find. I had a heck of a time last year but I finally found information on Green Gables. Why oh why did I not print it off??

Debs,
Now here is something curious. I searched under Epidendrum Green Gables and your own question appears in Google! Nothing else, though. Neither the AOS nor Orchid Wiz list it as a valid hybrid. Have you tried RHS?

No, I don't have a photo I can find. I'm pretty sure I've taken a picture though as I've had this plant a long time. Last year it had 7 or 8 spikes on it so you'd think I would have snapped one.

Hi Debs,

maybe it is a Prosyclia today, since several species went from Encyclia to Prosthechea?
