Epidendrum - any ideas? Male
Default Epidendrum - any ideas?

Got a couple of these just recently, was wondering if it's identifiable any more than simply "Epidendrum NoID". I think I remember the seller saying it was Hawaiian, but that may have been another plant, there've been so many recently...

You will never be able to definitively identify it any more precisely than "reed-step epidendrum ".

Thanks for the input, Ray. Thought that would probably be the case.

Just spoken to the cultivator's wife, she's confirmed that it IS Hawaiian, and that it DOES have a name, although she can't remember what it is right now. As soon as she's asked her hubby she'll let me know, and I you.
