Default What is this orchid?

Hi All,
Last August I bought a young Laparis Veridis at an orchid greenhouse. Honestly, I think I am losing it. I don't know what attracted me about this very young plant, and I have no idea what it will look like when it grows up. It has grown new shoots, and the four or five oldest shoots have tiny sheathes in them, but they have been like that since August. I tried to look it up on the internet but couldn't find it. I was told to keep it moist and medium light. The roots are very tiny but abundant.
Anyone have one of these? Or know what it will look like when blossomed? Any info would help me at this point. The picture quality is not my best, either. Patience is not one of my strongest qualities. Thank you for looking.
kiki

Default Sorry can't help,

I have absolutely no clue about it. Heck, I never even heard the name before! Are you sure the name is spelled correctly? It's a bit weird that an internet search would yield zero results.... I really hope someone can help you
Maybe you need higher humidity to keep the leaves from pleating. Kind of hard to say since I know ziltch about it.

Actually, maybe 2 minutes after posting, I found that it's probably Liparis and not Laparis! Just saw that a favorite vendor of mine sells several Liparis species.
Here's Liparis viridifolia, which might be similar
IOSPE Photos- Liparis viridifolia

Hope this helps!

Now that makes sense. Didn't think to check mispellings. Thanks for the link.

Oh Wow! That must be close to what it is. The tag says Liparis (I made that mistake, sorry) Veridis. That is all it says. The pic certainly has those same characteristics. Thanks so much for your help! So appreciated. kiki

Kiki, you probably have a truncated species name on the label because Liparis veridis is not described. There are three species with similar names: L. viridicallus, L. viridiflora and L. viridipurpurea. Yours probably is one of these .

That's different... Are you going to keep with that moss as a medium?
