I saw this on your other thread, but It's impossible to name most Cattleya crosses as there are so many. It is a Cattleya for sure, possibly with some digbyana in it given its slightly ruffled lip and greenish yellow but without a tag, you will never know what it is for sure. Have you asked the person you got it from?
Thank you for your input.
I guess if it flowered, I most be finally treating it correctly. I am no hang up on the names, but mainy on how to treat them.
Thank you.
Most Cattleya hybrids take general Catt care. Good light, good open fast draining media that dries out before being watered. Some moving air. If you have good roots and nice leaves and pseudo bulbs then it is likely happy. Its a nice bloom.
Rlc. (Blc.) Acapana 'Miles' HCC/AOS would be my first suggestion. Acapana comes in a wide range of colors, so other clones might not compare at all. 'Miles' is quite variable in color intensity depending on conditions, so often has more intense color than this.
Of course, many other hybrids could look very similar. This general look seems to be common among hybrids that combine C. dowiana, C. (L.) tenebrosa, Rl. (B.) digbyana and C. warscewiczii.
