Is it possible to ID this phalaenopsis? Yellow, colorful and fragrant?

So, a little backstory- I got this phal at Lowes a couple months ago. I had decided I wouldn't buy any more regular phals, or NoID phals / non-fragrant phals, but this one caught my eye in the massive display they had. Most looked like typical moth-y shaped non-fragrant boring phals. But the flowers of this one were more of a square? shape and a lot thicker than the others. I could tell it would probably be fragrant, and I have a weakness for thick phals with colorful overlay.

It has small to medium sized leaves- bigger than a mini-phal. Flowers are thick, very long lasting, with a fairly heavy day fragrance that kind of reminds me of sweet floral soap or something.

Anyone know what this could be? Or what it could have in it's parentage?
I'm under the impression that most NoID phals are pretty much impossible to identify?

Yes, it's kind of impossible to identify due to lots of hybridization with this genus. If you know from which nursery it comes from, it might be possible for them to inform you of what it is. Those flowers are lovely though, and it reminds me of Phal Gold Tris. But, we can never be sure without a tag.

I agree with Luizacft on the appearance - reminds me of Gold Tris, but anything I read about Gold Tris indicates it is not fragrant.

Satisfy yourself with having a fragrant Phal whose appearance you like. I have a few noids that my wife and I just enjoy for their appearance.

One last thing you may want to check - the plant may not have a tag, but is a name laser-printed on the pot? I see that sometimes.

The move over the last 2 years toward almost exclusively selling tag-less orchids in big-box stores and groceries has made me just about stop looking at those displays; very frustrating. Even if I never breed a plant, I want to know what it is.

I can tell you that it shows probable influences from Phal venosa and Phal violacea, which can mostly account for the color, pattern and fragrance, and smaller than standard Phal leaves. The shape shows it has some bigger flat round Phal in its ancestry too though. A little looking and I found several hybrids it resembles - Shenandoah Gold, Nobby's Golden Canary, and Zuma Aussie Delight. Those all bring Phal amboinenis and Phal amabilis into the mix. There are hundreds of hybrids that combine those 4 species in various combinations, with or without other species too. Which brings us to the point where you can't identify THE hybrid, but it tells you the general type pretty clearly.

Thanks everyone. I did ask the company about the ID and they said it's name is "phalaenopsis 'trinity'" That's how they put it, with single quotes around trinity and without capitalizing it. Seems weird. I can't find anything by that name.
