Is this a Brassavola or a Brassavocattleya?
Hi guys! Happy Labor day weekend to all! Let's have a nice relaxing and fun one!
Well this orchid finally flowered. It was on a palm out front where the previous owner had placed it.
During the dry,hot weather we've been having I decided to bring it into my garden area, where I could better care for it. I mounted it on a piece of tree fern and watered and fed it.
And it bloomed! But I sure would to know exactly what it is, to better care for it!
Any ideas? Thanks a mil!

Probably Bc. (or Bl.) Morning Glory (B. nodosa x C. (L.) purpurata), but there are some similar hybrids. Care would be the same for any of the type.

An orchid grower here told me that it's a bc Nanipuakea.
I searched online and it seems to be almost identical so maybe that's what it is.

The lip says nodosa & purpurata, but there could be something else in the mix.

With this purple markings on the lip it is definitely not a Brassavola species.

Hi euplasia! Well when I looked it up on the internet, the the blooms that I have are identical to the pictures of the 'Nanipuakea Dogashima' .
Also I was told by the same orchid grower that it is their blooming season now.
