FOUND: ID for striped yellow mini phal - fragrant
Hey everyone!
This isn't asking for an ID, but giving one. Looking through old pictures, I realized that I have the ID for a phalaenopsis that I recently got! I apparently found it before - it was peloric - but the ID is correct!
It is "Fuller Gold Staff" - a mini phal.
I have seen similar ones called phal fuller's gold stripes, phal fuller's gold staff and so on, but this is basically what you need to find a similar plant, so whoopee!
I hope this contributes to our knowledge base!
I will share pictures of the peloric one, the ID tag, and my orchid that is not peloric but IS fragrant. (intermittently... what is it even trying to do being fragrant one day and neutral the next?!)
Notice how the new blooms on my orchid are paler. I am not sure if temperature, light, repotting, or what has influenced this, but I don't really mind!

I got one like that for my sister and mother. Mine is peloric as well but they don't cup like that. I found ones that looked just like both at Hausermans but I thought they called them something canary. I wrote it down but sadly no longer know what I did with it.
Mine start out bright and then get pale with age. I love mine even if it is a noID.

I love some of those peloric phals!
This one is just blooming lighter for whatever reason, though the older blooms have been maintaining their color nicely.

I do too. when I first got it I didn't like it so I gave the regular ones to my mom and my sister. But I have now come to love mine.
