How about Eddy?

I'm joking a bit, but you are not likely to get any closer to an accurate name. There are just too many large white Cattleyas out there. So, you may never be able to tell if this is a Bow Bells, Bob Betts, Jose Marti, etc.

It's a nice plant, just enjoy it for what it is. It may be a NOID, but it's a nice NOID!

In terms of plant care, the name should not matter. The names are really only important if you are using the plant to make hybrids, and want to register the hybrid that you make. In that case, it is important to be 100% sure on the name. As a former algebra teacher of mine used to say, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades (she was a tough old bird!)

Isn't this the identification part of the forum? Just want a name. Not too much to ask
