Default NOID CATTLEYA

Hi everyone!
Got this a few weeks ago at a Fair with no label. It's about done with the flower but thought I'd take a chance to see if anyone can ID it. Flowers are a beautiful maroon red...sorry for the poor pix but wanted to catch it before it fell.
Thanks in advance!

Without seeing the blooms up close and fresh, it can't be identified. Try again when there are fresh flowers

Even with the blooms up close and fresh, it is likely impossible to identify. There are just so many hybrids out there in many of the orchid genuses including the Catts, Oncids, Phals etc. that an identity is only ever a guess. It should be labelled as a NOID if that's what it is. If you label it based on just a guess, then if you share it or pass it on it could be incorrectly judged down the road, which screws up records for judging and referencing. Just make a name for it that pleases you

You can still enjoy them and share the pics with others as they are still beautiful.
