Maybe a primary hybrid phal???
Hey orchid people,
please help me to identify this phalaenopsis, it might be some kind of primary hybrid or something, because it resembles species phals a lot more than other phal hybrids, I uploaded a picture of the flower, and if it helps, it is a liiiittle bit frangrant in the morning, it has a sweet fruity frangrance.
Thank you guys!

its probably impossible to identify, the nearest ive found is Phal. javanica x Phal. amboinensis white
but I'm 95% certain its not that. looked through a few pages of primary hybrids and that's the closest ive seen.
think its got some amboinensis in it but cant be certain.

Maybe try checking phals.net. They have a great database of species and primary hybrids. I would start by looking at petal patterns and then lip shape. Good luck!

Hi everyone!
I found this orchid in Marks&Spencer in London and I was wondering if you have seen it before/you know what kind of hybrid it is. I have looked through the phals.net, but couldn't find it...
Thank you!

@Weronka
It is a hybrid. I am not sure that it is 100% Phaleanopsis; it could be an intergeneric with some Vandaceous in the background.

Thank you! I knew it's a hybrid, however I could not find any orchids with this kind of petals. Thank you very much!
I was digging a lot lately in tonnes of websites and I think I may hav found one of the parents/ancestors... Could it actually be a cross of Phalaenopsis braceana peloric and something else?

It looks like a peloric version of Phal (ex Dtps) Black Bird, which is extremely common in Europe at the moment. So it could be that.... As usual, no guarantees when it comes naming NOIDS.
