Don't think this is Rhynchostylis
Picked up some new acquisitions from the market "in front of the camp," over the river next to the Army base. The lady told me the Thai name, but I didn't catch it and was too embarrassed to ask her to repeat it. The blossoms look just like another plant I have that I've identified as a Rhynchostylis gigantea, but the roots on this one are thinner and the plant would be much taller if it were vertical. Also, the two Rhynchostylis I already have both bloomed in February. The blossoms are about 1.5 inch (a little over 3 cm.) in diameter. Any suggestions?
