Need an i.d. for this Cattleya and Paphiopedilum Male

The first is a Paphiopedilum hybrid (looks kind of like Paph. Clarissa) and the second a Cattleya, but I've not seen one quite like that.

Either way they're both very nice plants and for less than the cost of a hardware store Phal.

Paph. Jolly Roger `Salinas' (Clarissa x Maudiae) I think this is the one im not sure though. The Cattleya cant find it anywhere. I know its just a common one coz it dont have the ripple in the flowers but for the price i wont say no.

They are both lovely. But many Paph hybrids look similar and with so many Catt hybrids as well, you will never know the name for sure unless the seller can tell you. Both lovely blooms tho.

I think they will thrive under general Paph and Catt care. I have some NOID's too, and they are still just as enjoyable as the named ones. Just can't win an AOS award with them should the chance ever arise (NOT)
