Looks like some kind of a dendrobium to me...it might be a good idea to post your question on the dendrobium forum...BettyE. P.S. Welcome to Orchidboard, Bill.

Welcome to Orchidboard. Your neighbor has a beautiful plant. Possibly a Dendrobium Nestor?

If you take your neighbor some cookies you might go home with a piece of this plant.

The plant could definitely stand to be divided, so if you play your cookies right a piece could come your way.

If they grow plants like that you should get to know them. Plant people generally don't mind when neighbors knock on their door to tell them how nice their plants are.
