Default Identify this orchid from the wild in Uganda

[IMG][/IMG]please help me to identify this orchid. I found it growing wild near the river Nile.

I have had it for about two months, this is a single flower and I have planted it in a pot in loose soil.

Please post a larger picture.

Edit: for a larger pic, go to the OP's gallery.

Probably an Angraecoid based on what looks like a spur.

Do you have a picture of the whole plant? Leaves and growth habit will help to identify it further.

Angraecum infundibulare is a good candidate.

Take it out of the soil!

These orchids are epiphytes, not terrestrials. Pot it with chunky media or mount it on wood. How to care for it depends on your conditions (humidity, temperature, indoor/outdoor, light).

The only information I have is the link in the previous post.

Please refrain from collecting from the wild in the future as this specie (if it is as I think) and others may be protected, even endangered.

I am not an expert, but AnonyMouse made a good proposal: Angraecum infundibulare.
