Default encyclia randii looks like cordigera

I bought this on the internet from oak hill gardens as encyclia randii. (and it was labeled enc. randii) but now in flower for the first time it looks like en. cordigera rosea dark...any ideas?

Hmm...definitely not an expert, but the two small pink petals near the column and the overall shape/flatness appear much more like randii to me. I've never seen a rosea randii though, so no clue.

Default flatness

you are right about the sepals and petals being (unusually) flat for cordigera....what is not visible in the picture: the pseudobulbs are huge (unlike randii) and the leaves are green versus reddish in randii (the plant grows outdoors in vieques puerto rico on a date palm, mostly morning to midday sun...lots of it...pretty much every day)
