Question Mystery Orchid Freebie

Can anyone help me find Dtps. (Pauwela Lady x Zuma Pixie) x self I received it as a freebie from EOoM. I went back to there website numerous times trying to find this one and I cannot see it any where. Maybe it’s just me and don’t see it?... Then I tried to do a web search but not a lotta luck I did track down zuma pixie

http://www.biwako.ne.jp/~mizukosi/Ochid/orchid17.htm

But I have not been able to find a photo of Dtps.(Pauwela Lady) I did find the parentage Pauwela Lady=Dtps. Maui Appeal x Phal. Maui Frost Exotic Orchids

I found a photo of Dtps.Maui Appeal x self on there site Exotic Orchids of Maui: Dtps. Maui Appeal x self

But I have not located Phal. Maui Frost…It seems a little strange they would send me something they don’t list on there site...

Thanks for any help

Jo Ann, it could be a new cross of theirs that hasn't had a first bloom yet. Hence no picture. They do a lot of their own hybridizing.

Looks like it's in spike so you shouldn't have too long to wait to find out!

Email them and ask. They're really good about answering questions.

That may explain why it doesn't have a name. Thanks Terri.

Hi Joann, I bought 2 new crosses at the Tamiami show on Sunday. They put a picture of the parents and their names but the plants had no name nor did they know what they will look like. I think it is so cool that I have a couple of flowers nobody has seen yet! Please keep us posted
