Default Oncidium of some kind or Zygonisia Murasakikomachi

I bought this at Trader J. I loved the leaves and the Pseudobulbs are so round like little golf balls. I likes that about the plants. I am not crazy about purple since most of my orchids have purple in them in. But I thought this was cool. I might give it away and get a yellow oncidium because yellow would be fun and different.

So what is this orchid?

I can't post photos on here for some reason. so here is a link to my photo.

Try

Zygonesia Cynosure 'Blue Birds'

or

Aganax (Aganesia-colax) Eva’s Blue Amazon ‘Kapalana’ (also zygo family of hybrids)

Hope this helps
These are commonly found, and were produced from plugs by an oncidium grower in Hawaii -- The Orchid Works.

Bumping this thread since I got the same exact thing as a gift today and none of the suggested plants so far match up.

When you google Zygonisia Murasakikomachi you will see most the flowers look like these. It's a hybrid of Zygonisia Roquebrune x Aganisia cyanea.

I can not find info on this hybrid . I think it would be safe to follow what Zygonesia Cynosure 'Blue Birds' need. since they are a lot a like.

That is the best advice -- follow the culture info that you can find for the Zygonesia Cynosure.

Take care

I actually saw the same one at Trader Joe's the other day. I found a unregistered mini Catt that managed to follow me home I'm just waiting for my shipment of sphagnum moss to arrive before I repot it this weekend.

----------------------------------------------
On a side note, I'm extremely frustrated with my phone constantly refreshing tabs when I attempt to post pictures (iPhone 6 Plus). I will upload some pics when I get home.
