It's a dark violet.

Contact Kawamoto orchids in Honolulu.
They sell orchids on eBay, but they seldom post these dendrobiums although they usually have many of them in bloom around this time of the year.
They are quite cheap I remember, like $10 each.
If you just ask them your like dark flowered dendrobium, they will select a few good ones for you.
