Which Sobralia is this?
Found this Sobralia at an altitude of 1500m near Jinotega, Nicaragua in the mountains. This specimen was in a grassy clearing. The flower only lasts for one day.
Plant height 29cm., leaf length 15cm., leaf width 3cm.
Lip length 7cm., lip width 3cm.
Sepal length 5.75cm., Sepal width 2cm.
Petal length 5cm., Petal width 2.5 cm.
Column 3cm
Lip is light purple in throat with only one keel of ocher color.
I can not find this one in my books or Internet orchid encyclopedia. I was wondering if this may be a new species.
